Cisco Experience
I first took an interest in networking whilst doing my Bachelors degree in Computer Science at the University of Westminster, in London 2002. The networking modules always presented an extra level of complexity and I loved both the challenge in grasping the material and in doing so understanding the straight forward logic that was needed to make things work.
After qualifying with First Class Honours in my class, I took a graduate position, as a Cisco Consultant, with SAS Global Communications, in Sussex. With CCNA completed in the first few months and CCNP within the first year I was very quickly taking on responsibility as the technical lead for fairly large projects in Routing and Switching, Security, Wireless and Voice.
With two years experience in the industry I decided it was time to take on the CCIE so began studying and passed the exam in January 2008, qualifying as CCIE #19890 in Routing and Switching.
Cisco Consulting at ProNetExpert Ltd
In March 2009 I took the position as Technical Director of ProNetExpert Ltd. ProNetExpert is a global provider of expert level Cisco Consulting, so I have the privilege of working with some of the brightest CCIE consultants in coordinating and delivering advanced Cisco Consulting solutions worldwide.
Cisco Training Experience
In May 2009 I qualified as a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor CCSI and hence began my Cisco Training Experience. Currently I teach or am preparing to teach Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIP and CCSP courses, including ICND1, ICND2, CCNA Bootcamp, IINS, ROUTE, SWITCH, TSHOOT, SNRS, SNAF, SNAA, IPS and MARS.
